This is the first review I've written, and I decided to take the time because this book is worth reading. I was surprised that there were no other reviews on Amazon, and I almost didn't pick up the book because of that. I'm glad I took a chance! The story was fast paced, with a lot of action, but it also had great romantic tension. Good world-building and character development, with only a few grammatical flaws throughout. The story-line kept me guessing for the most part, and though the ending was unexpected, I felt like it was true to the characters and offered enough closure. I would love to read another book by this author. This was a great debut novel!

(My personal ranking structure is: 1=hated it (didn't finish it) 2= didn't like it (skimmed to the end) 3=liked it (would recommend it) 4=loved it (couldn't put it down), 5=best book ever written (only a handful have made the cut) This book was about a 3.5 for me, so I rounded up on the Amazon star system.)
